How to Apply as a Construction Worker in Japan
Applications for the Specified Skills evaluation exam for the construction industry in Japan have started! Now is the opportunity for construction workers to find a job in Japan under the new residence “Specified Skilled Worker” visa that was created in April of 2019.
In addition to passing the construction exam, applicants will also be evaluated on their Japanese language ability. The basics are necessary to perform the job properly and stay safe while worker. How to apply for the construction skills evaluation exam?
Please visit the Japan Association for Construction Human Resources (JAC). Specified Skilled Workers (SSW Japan) should register as an applicant on the JAC website. From there, please choose your exam and a ticket will be issued to you. The price of the exam is 2000PHP. Please prepare the fee in advance. Small bills and change will not be accepted.
